About Shanteka Sigers (she/her)
Last name rhymes with tigers.

Shanteka drives revenue by leading high-performing, multidisciplinary teams that create inventive business solutions. She’s particularly talented in brand strategy, people management and culture for growth.

She’s a former Creative Director + Copywriter who, often working in multicultural advertising, had to become a killer strategist in order to distill the complexities of culture into actionable insights and campaigns for Fortune 500 brands.

She was a Director at Meta. She led the largest team of strategists in Creative Shop, helping advertisers succeed on Instagram, Facebook, and in the Metaverse.

She served as a Board Member on the Anheuser Busch Non-Alcoholic Beverages Global Creative Lab, providing strategic input on work from agencies worldwide.

Shanteka is certified Gen Z friendly, as a professor of Integrated Communications Management at UT Austin.

Somehow, ended up as talent and brand ambassador for the Dove Project #ShowUs campaign. She is now a subversive strike at implicit bias, as a stock image on Getty ('businesswoman with dreads').

Talks about inclusive content, campaigns, and culture on stages: UN Unstereotype Alliance, SXSW, Texas Conference for Women, 3% Conference, NYU.

She is mentioned in the credits of the book JUNIOR: Writing Your Way Ahead in Advertising as one of the bosses the author learned the most from. She is pretty proud of that.
